If you’ve ever been to Great Kills, then you know that there is a variety of housing options in the neighborhood. Among these is our latest listing, 162 Sandalwood Dr. This home is a unique multi-level, semi-attached two-family home.

Outside the house, you will notice a driveway for two cars next to the large front lawn. As you enter the house, you will find yourself in the wonderful family room. This room is adjacent to the one-bedroom apartment. If you hate having noisy neighbors, this place is perfect, as the walls have been soundproofed. On the next floor, you have the main rooms. If you walk to Giffords Lane, you can take the s54 to West Brighton or Eltingville, the x7 into Midtown Manhattan, or the x8 into Lower Manhattan. If you walk further north to Arthur Kill Road, you will find more bus options for you to take.
There are numerous schools in the area which your children may attend. The nearest public schools are P.S. 32, at 32 Elverton Ave.; I.S. 24, at 225 Cleveland Avenue; and the College of Staten Island School for International Studies, at 100 Essex Drive. St. Patrick’s School, at 3560 Richmond Road; the St. Clare School, at 151 Lindenwood Road; and Monsignor Farrell High School, at 2900 Amboy Road, are just a few of the options you have if you would like to enroll your children in Catholic school. If you would prefer a private school, you have the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, at 400 Caswell Avenue; the Eltingville Lutheran School, at 300 Genesee Avenue; and the Francis School, at 4240 Amboy Road. If you walk south from the house, to Amboy Road, you can get to an x22 bus stop, which will take you along the Goethals Bridge and into Midtown Manhattan. Not far from the house, to the north, you can easily access the Richmond Parkway or cross the Outerbridge Crossing, which is nearby.
The home is close to many great schools. Some of these include the public schools of P.S. 1, at 58 Summit Street; P.S. 6, at 555 Page Avenue; I.S. 34, at 528 Academy Avenue; and the Academy for Urban Leadership, at 401 Hall Avenue. The private schools included here are Gateway Academy, at 200 Boscombe Avenue; Staten Island Montessori School, at 500 Butler Boulevard; and Yeshiva of Staten Island, at 1870 Drumgoole Road East. The Catholic Our Lady Help of Christian School, which is located at 23 Summit Street, is also located in the area.
