What’s even harder is trying to find a nice, elegant house to suit your needs—those being the location of the house and its interior features. On Canton Avenue, right between the South Shore Country Club and the Arden Heights Woods, you will find the perfect house for a small family. Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in the entry foyer, where you are just four ascending steps away from admiring the rooms of the main floor. As you walk up these steps, you will be greeted by an excess of natural light radiating the living room by
means of a bay window. Following the ceiling’s decorative molding across the room, you will find a large opening which is lighted by a second bay window. This is the dining room, where you have that same decorative molding wrapping around the ceiling. Following that same molding all the way around the room, you will find yet another opening, where you can see the beautiful, new kitchen. In here you will find a stainless steel refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher among granite counters. You will also find sliders here, which lead to the side deck. Outside on the deck, you will find yourself sheltered by a retractable awning as you walk around to the large backyard. As you walk by, you will pass many chairs and tables which lead to a bench and a lovely seating area. As you leave the deck and walk onto the large grassy area, you will find a large shed in the northwest corner of the lot.
Back inside, you can exit the kitchen to access the rest of the rooms in the house. Passing the kitchen, you will find a door to your right which leads to the new full bathroom, which has a beautifully-tiled floor and a granite counter. Past this room, you have a bedroom, which has wood flooring and a nice-sized closet. Next to this room is the master bedroom, where you have yet another nice-sized closet, as well as another sliding door leading out onto the deck.
On this floor, you have access to the attic, which is mainly used for storage. If you journey back to the entry foyer, however, you will find another set of stairs descending into the basement. In this fully-finished basement, you will find a lovely full kitchen, followed by a new bathroom, which is reminiscent of the main floor’s bathroom. Beside these two rooms, you have yet another living room and dining room, with another window to light your placemat. At the other end of the house, you will find another window, which is accompanied by a storage room and closets.
If you’ve never been to the area, you will be amazed to see the options offered to you. You have plenty of places to shop and eat, and you’re right in between a beautiful park and a golf course. Additionally, transportation is not sparse. Right on Woodrow Road, which is just below the house, you have the bus options: two express and one local. The local bus is the s56, which will take you to either Huguenot or the Staten Island Mall.
Read moreIn 1970, Mayor Lindsay announced a proposal for the City’s first large-scale planned-unit development. This development, known as Village Greens, was originally planned to consist of nine “villages” of looped, one-way streets, which would be occupied by townhouses. For reasons unknown, possibly due to financial constraints, the community was built with fewer “villages” than expected. But that wasn’t the case with this particular development, which is what makes this area so unique. While the remaining streets may not be included in the community, they still have their own wonderful features and are just as beautiful as the Village Greens.

One of the streets intended for the Village Greens community was Rolling Hill Green. On this street, you will find many beautiful houses, such as 40 Rolling Hill Green. Spectacularly, this spacious end-unit has just gone up for sale.

will see a walkway and a driveway, both in between a well-kept lawn. Looking up, you will see a marvelous balcony projecting above the main entrance of the house. As you enter the house, you will find beautiful wainscoting along the walls—even going up the staircase ahead. To the right of the staircase is a half-bathroom, followed by an entrance to the den, where you have a wet bar with a sink. As you make your way along the floral runner, which travels along the 90 degree stairway, you will find yourself in the hallway of the second floor. Toward the main façade of the house are the living room and the dining room, where you will find the entrance out to the wide balcony. Next to the dining room is the eat-in-kitchen, where you have two skylights and are already equipped with a refrigerator, a stove, and a dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is the immaculate full bathroom, which is followed by the large master bedroom, which has three closets.
Adjacent to this room is the second bedroom, which has chair rail molding, followed by a third bedroom. All of the bedrooms have hardwood flooring and enough fenestration for use of natural light. Back on the ground level, you will find two great features of the house. Firstly, the house has a large, one-bedroom apartment, which has a private entrance and is rented for $1000. Secondly, in the backyard, you will find a beautiful barbeque and new pavers—who ever thought they could describe a barbeque as being beautiful?
There are a few modes of transportation to choose from surrounding the house.

Have you ever driven along the stretch of Arthur Kill Road, between Arden Ave. and Drumgoole Road, and wondered what it would be like to live in those gigantic houses across from the Jewish Community Center? Well now may be your chance to actually experience it—at a low monthly mortgage rate.
To the left of the entrance into Aspen Knolls, you will find a row of houses with a street solely for parking, parallel to Arthur Kill Road. Moreover, you will see that each of the houses have their own built-in garage. Within this row of houses, you will find 1298 Arthur Kill Road, our latest listing.
As you enter the house, you will find yourself in a spacious family room beside the garage, which is followed by a laundry room with your washing machine and dryer included. Adjacent to these, you will find a staircase leading to the main floor. When you get to the main floor, you will find yourself in a large and airy living, which extends in an L-shape to the full dining room. Between these two rooms, you have the kitchen, which is equally large and modern. In here, you will find a desk, and your very own refrigerator and stove. When you ascend the next flight of stairs, you will find yourself face-to-face
with a nice-sized bedroom, which has a walk-in closet. Next to this room you have the large master bedroom, which has a walk-in closet and access to the home’s full bathroom.
It would not be fair to say that there is only one great feature of this house, as there are quite a few. For example, you have country club amenities, such as access to the pool and tennis courts, as well as exterior maintenance being included in your monthly fee. In the surrounding neighborhood, you have plenty of places to shop, such as the Staten Island Mall and its nearby plazas, and the West Shore Expressway. There are also bus stops right outside the community. Here, you have access to the s56, which will take you to Huguenot or to the Staten Island Mall; the s74, which will take you to the St. George Ferry Terminal or the Bricktown Mall; the x17 express bus, which will take you into either Lower Manhattan or Midtown Manhattan, depending on the time of day; and the x23, which travels into Midtown Manhattan. Both express buses take the Goethals Bridge to get to their destinations.
Also in the area, you have a number of schools for your children to attend. For example, you have P.S. 4, at 200 Nedra Lane; P.S. 42, at 380 Genesee Avenue; P.S. 36, at 255 Ionia Avenue; P.S. 32, at 32 Elverton Avenue; I.S. 75, at 455 Huguenot Avenue; the McCown

Yesterday, the real estate office of RealEstateSINY.com announced the price reduction on the home.

The single-family home is located on a private cul-de-sac among Huguenot’s beautiful homes. The cul-de-sac, which is right off Amboy Road, is home exclusively Side-Hall Colonial homes, with 44 Comfort Court being the only corner lot. From the outside, you will notice a garage door, which is adjacent to the steps leading up to the entrance of the house. Once inside, you will find yourself in the two-story high entry foyer, which is illuminated by the natural light coming through the half-moon window. As you make your way further into the house, you will notice yourself walking on hardwood floors to the living room and dining room combination. The attractive, country-style powder room is not far from here, along with the spacious family room, which is equipped with a gas fireplace. The best room on this floor I have, of course, saved for last. This would be the eat-in kitchen. This beautiful kitchen has cherry wood
cabinetry up to the ceiling, accompanied by stainless steel appliances. From here, you can reach the oversized backyard by walking through the sliding doors. In the backyard, you have the multi-level deck and pool which has plenty of room for outdoor parties and barbeques.
Back inside, you will find the staircase leading to the second floor. Here, you have two large bedrooms, each with an abundant amount of closet space. Across from these two rooms is the full bathroom, to service these bedrooms. Further down the hall, you will find the master bedroom. Here, you have a walk-in closet in addition to an incredible private master bathroom. As you descend the two flights of stairs in the house, you will find yourself in the astoundingly large, fully-finished basement. Here, you will find the full-service laundry room, as well as a half bathroom. The rest of the basement is quite large, because part of the built-in garage was converted into living space. However, if that space is needed for the garage, it can easily be returned to its original state.
Getting around is easy, no matter which type of transportation you choose to take. The Richmond Parkway is right by the house and the s55 passes by on Amboy Road, waiting to take you toward Rossville or the Staten Island Mall. The x17, x23, and x19 express buses also have bus stops on neighboring streets, where they stop before proceeding into Manhattan.
There are schools aplenty in the neighborhood for children to attend. The nearest public schools include P.S. 5, at 348 Deisius Street; P.S. 36, at 255 Ionia Avenue; P.S. 4, at 200 Nedra Lane; I.S. 7, at 1270 Huguenot Avenue; I.S. 75, at 455 Huguenot Avenue; and Tottenville High School, at 100 Luten Avenue. The closest Catholic schools are Our Lady Star of the Sea, at 5411 Amboy Road; the St. Joseph/St. Thomas School, at 50 Maguire Avenue; and St. Joseph by the Sea High School, at 5150 Hylan Boulevard.
