If you are looking for an affordable house in a private development which is suitable for a large family and staffed all with its own security, you’ve come to the right place. The home at 40 Studio Lane is all that and more.

See complete listing for 40 Studio Lane.

Located in Clifton, the exterior of the home features a one-car driveway with a carport, additional parking on the street, and a nice-sized backyard.  When you enter the house, you will find yourself in a cozy living room, which extends into a dining room.  Past these two rooms, you have the eat-in-kitchen, which is equipped with a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, and sliders to the yard we spoke of earlier. Across from the kitchen, you have a stairwell, which leads to the second floor of the house.  Once you get to the second floor, you will find two nice-sized bedrooms, which each haveing their own closets.

Separating the two bedrooms are the linen closet and a full bathroom, which is large enough for hamper space.  Now that you have finished with these rooms, you may enter the remaining door on this floor. This door leads to another staircase, which, upon ascending, will get you to the third floor. When you get to the third floor, you will find yourself in the master bedroom suite. To your right, you will find the full bathroom, which has extra shelving, followed by a huge walk-in closet. Past the setup for a bedroom, there is an additional room, which would be great for an office or a nursery. Now that you are done on this floor, you may descend the two flights of stairs, which will take you to the third staircase.  The third staircase leads down to the large, finished basement. The basement, which extends through the length of the house, has high ceilings and is furnished with a washing machine and a dryer.

There are many advantages that come with the house, aside from it being in a private development. For starters, there are a few parks very close to the house, including Eibs Pond Park and De Matti Playground, which has a baseball field, a basketball court, and a playground.  It is very close to the Staten Island Expressway, which will get you to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in a short amount of time. Many schools surround the area; however, you would have to call your local public school to see which school your child may be zoned for. In addition, there are a number of buses in the area that will certainly get you where you need to go.

P.S. 57, at 140 Palma Drive; P.S. 13, at 191 Vermont Avenue; P.S. 14, at 100 Tompkins Avenue; I.S. 49, at 101 Warren Street; Concord High School, at 109 Rhine Avenue; and the Michael J. Petrides School, at 715 Ocean Terrace, are the nearest public schools to the house.  For Catholic schools, students may attend the St. Mary School, at 1124 Bay Street; Immaculate Conception School, at 104 Gordon Street; St. Sylvester School, at 884 Targee Street; St. John Villa Academy, at 25 Landis Avenue; Notre Dame Academy High School, at 134 Howard Avenue; and St. Joseph Hill Academy High School, at 850 Hylan Boulevard.  Other private schools close to the house are the Trinity Lutheran School, at 309 St. Paul’s Avenue, and Wagner College, at 1 Campus Road. The schools above may not necessarily be those this home is zoned for. Individually verify with the local school board or school administration to determine enrolment eligibility.

We’ve already discussed the benefit of being so close to the Staten Island Expressway, so now we’ll discuss some other transportation options that come with the house.  On Tompkins Avenue, you have access to two local bus stops; the s52, which will take you to Staten Island University Hospital, and the s78, which will take you along Hylan Boulevard to the Bricktown Mall. A bus stop for the s76 can be found on Vanderbilt Avenue.  You can take this bus along Richmond Road and into the Oakwood community. All three of the buses come from the St. George Ferry Terminal, which means that you can also travel there to get into Manhattan. In addition to the buses, the Clifton Train Station, which is located on Bay Street and Townsend Avenue, is about a ten-minute walk from the home. From here, you will be taken from points between Tottenville and the St. George Ferry Terminal, in less time than the bus would take.
