Living Room/Dining Room 9 Keegans Lane

9 Keegans Lane a Colonial-style semi -detached house located in Bay Terrace, Staten Island, 10308.  The one-family, semi-attached house is part brick and part vinyl.  There are two floors, a basement, and an attic.  The full, finished basement has a family room, a laundry room, and access to the yard, which is accompanied by a deck.  On the first floor, you will find the large living/dining room, which has been given hardwood floors and is full of natural light, thanks to two large windows on either side of the room.  Through the dining room side is the opening to the kitchen, which is equipped with stainless steel appliances.  There is also a half-bathroom and another entry to the yard on this floor.  On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom, which has a private bathroom, and two other bedrooms, which would be great for children. 

The house, itself, is in a great area, with a few parks and several schools nearby.  Not too far from the house, you have the Bay Terrace Train Station, as well as bus stops for the s78, which goes to St. George and the Bricktown Mall; the s79, which goes to the Staten Island Mall and Bay Ridge, Brooklyn; and the s54, which goes to West New Brighton and Eltingville.  To the east of the home is Great Kills Park, which is known for its marina, among other things.  Siedenburg Park, to the northwest, is great for dog runs. Across from the railroad, you have Pathmark, which is accompanied by many other eateries and places to shop throughout the neighborhood.

 There are a number of schools in the area of this home.  The public schools are P.S. 53, on Durant Avenue; P.S. 8, on Lindenwood Road; P.S. 32, on Elverton Avenue; I.S. 24, on Cleveland Avenue; Staten Island Technical High School, on Clawson Street; and New Dorp High School, on New Dorp Lane.  The Catholic Schools are St. Clare School, on Lindenwood Road; St. Patrick’s School, on Richmond Road; and Monsignor Farrell High School, on Amboy Road.  There are also a few other private schools in the area, such as the Eltingville Lutheran School, on Genesee Avenue; Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, on Richmond Road; Francis School, on Amboy Road; and Richmondtown Preparatory School, on Hylan Boulevard.
