Amazing 20 foot wide condo in Rossville

When it comes to condominiums, the idea that they are small usually resonates with most potential buyers-not to mention dismissing the notion of owning a condo based on a variety of other factors like maintenance costs and such. While it might be true in certain instances, it’s surely not with our latest listing located on 35 Arrowood Dr.

See the complete listing for 35 Arrowood Dr.

First let’s start with the homes dimensions: it stands at 20 feet wide and 35 feet deep. Basically, that’s unparalleled by many semi-attached homes on Staten Island, which

There is plenty of room to move about in this homes living room/dining room combo

usually don’t exceed more than 18 feet wide–and even that stands on the larger side. So, if your emphasis is size, there is little in the way of accomplishing that in this particular condo. As a matter of fact, this unit happens to be an end unit, making it rare for both size and availability within the Woodbrooke Estates community.

Size alone isn’t just this home’s selling point; it’s an assortment of great factors that make the purchase of the home of particular value to its next homeowner.  The community itself provides an array of great features that are covered under the home’s maintenance cost. Let’s start with the Olympic sized pool, and never having to have the chore of maintaining your own pool. Part of owning that house includes having to foot the bill for electricity. If you haven’t owned a pool, it’s not fun picking up the blue colored envelope in the mail come July, August and September. Also, let’s not forget that the development also has a lifeguard assigned to the pool during the summer months.

Living Room of 35 Arrowood Ct.

The development also has a children’s playground, tennis courts, and provides the snow removal services during the winter months. Consequently, when you figure the costs of having to hire the associated services with a standard home, the cost for maintenance costs is rather nominal, which is approximately $250 a month.

Let’s look at the home itself: outside you will find that the current homeowner took a great amount of time keeping the landscaping manicured to near perfection.  The home, like I stated earlier, is an end unit.  So not only does it have a front yard, it also has a side and backyard. Speaking of, the back yard is as large as you’ll find in the development.  The condo’s backyard is accessible from sliding glass doors from the basement. The yard also has a paver patio next to the home, with the benefit of an almost new retractable awning.

Let’s look at what this home has from the point of entry, which is of course the front door. Upon entering, it brings you to the combination living/dining room. This is where the 20

foot wide end unit shows its prowess over other units within the condo development. First the space gives you the feel of a completely open layout. Even if you’re hosting a number of guests, the space won’t have you or your guests feeling cramped.  Not to forget mentioning the unit being an end unit, natural light is able to spill in from the home’s side window. It’s a feature that enhances the unit’s openness.

The home has received tens of thousands in upgrades.

Just off the dining room you will find the home’s completely renovated ½ bath. While we’re on the renovation of this bathroom, let’s look at some of the

waiting to take you to various points on Staten Island.  But who says you have to utilize any of these buses when you have plenty of retail stores and restaurants just within reach?

You can understand how wonderful the location is because I’ve been talking so much about it, that I forgot to even mention the magnificence of the house itself!  As you enter the house, you will be greeted with radiant heat coming from the fireplace of the family room you will find yourself standing in.  To your right, you will see only a wall, but on the other side of that wall is your garage, which you can drive into via

We’ve spoken much about the facilities in the area, but we didn’t even get to tell you about the facilities the house comes with!  Behind the lovely condominium, you will find a huge community pool alongside a playground.  That’s not all you’ll find, though.  You also have two tennis courts.

As if all of the above wasn’t enough, there are also a number of great schools in the area to enroll your child in.  The nearest public schools are P.S. 58, at 77 Marsh Avenue; the Marsh Avenue School for Expeditionary Learning, at 100 Essex Drive; and the College of Staten Island High School for International Studies, also at 100 Essex Drive.  There are also a number of Catholic schools in the area, including St. Patrick’s School, at 3560 Richmond Road, and Moore Catholic High School, at 100 Merrill Avenue.  Then, of course, you have your private schools, such as the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, at 400 Caswell Avenue, and the Francis School, at 4240 Amboy Road. January 28 Brighton Beach Brooklyn Condos Listings Luxury Homes Real Estate

RealEstateSINY.com lists this rare breed of New York City condo in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.

Inside living room of Brighton Beach Condo, BrooklynSo, you’ve saved up your money for that lovely house you’ve always wanted. You think it’s the best there is, since the beach is just minutes away by car and there’s a park in the neighborhood. You’ve found the perfect home for your family, but have you ever thought that there could maybe be something better? Well, if not, you’re about to change your mind with our newest listing—125 Oceana Drive West #6C.

You may have thought that resort-like living was gone from New York City, but if you go to Brooklyn, you’ll find that to be very much untrue. This garden apartment is located within Brighton Beach’s Oceana Condominium and Club complex. The complex is situated right above the beach, and each apartment has private beach access. In addition to this, our listing offers views of the ocean from all of its rooms.

See the complete listing for 125 Oceana Dr West.

DOceana Drive Condouring the latter part of the nineteenth century, the southern portion of land in Brooklyn, which is currently located below the Shore Parkway, was converted into a beach resort. By 1910, the hotels began to close down as amusement parks began to open. Eventually, there were no longer any hotels and the “summer resort” only welcomed residents of New York City who would visit for just a day. By the twentieth century, however, all that began to change.

At the turn of the century, the Muss Development Company decided to bring summer resorts back to Brooklyn using a fifteen-acre site. On the site, the company decided not to build a hotel, but rather an oceanfront community. Between 2001 and 2007Oceana Drive Waterfront Condo in Brooklyn, a fifteen-building condominium complex was constructed in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn. The complex was quite a switch from what residents of the City were used to seeing. In fact, in 2003, it was a finalist for the National Association of Home Builders award due to its architectural beauty. While it did not win, it certainly turned some heads.

The complex is known as Oceana Condominium and Club. It is situated right above the beach and is home to 865 apartments. Past the gated entryway to the complex, which is guarded twenty-four hours a day, chamomile grows next to the sidewalks. Chamomile, as you may know, is known for its stress-relieving aroma, which added to the relaxation sensation of a summer resort.

While you’re able to purchase or rent from a selection of 1,200 on-site parking spaces, do you really need to? Forget driving to the gym or the beach. Forget driving anywhere. Why spend all that money on plane tickets to go on vacation when you can easily live in a resort? With exercise rooms, massage rooms, Olympic-sized pools, saunas and more, why would you ever want to leave your house? This condominium is truly the perfect place to raise a family.

Now that we’ve enthusiastically told you about the breathtaking exterior features of the home, it’s time to talk about the jaw-dropping interior. I can’t even get into every detail about the house because everything—and I

January 18 Condos Neighborhoods Sales Data Staten Island

Almost dead-center on Staten Island, New Springville has become one of the most popular places to be, aside from in St. George, its a community that has the highest concentration of Condominiums.  During the latter half of the twentieth century, the neighborhood developed quite a bit from its rural past.  Once the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge opened in 1964, many attached and detached homes were built, in addition to condominiums.  Putting these lovely houses aside, in 1973, the Staten Island Mall opened in the area.  Today, there are a number of high-ranches and plazas surrounding the Mall.

The top sale for New Springville was in October for a two-family home that sold for $525,000. This home is at 30 Bowdoin Street and was constructed in 1970. There is about twenty-five hundred square feet of interior living space on forty-two hundred square feet of property. The following top sale was in September for $461,000. This is another two-family home at 8 Rockville Avenue, which was also constructed in 1970. This home is just slightly smaller; it is situated on four thousand square feet of property and has about twenty-five hundred square feet of living space.

The lowest sale was for $140,000 in the beginning of October at 80 Richmond Hill Road #5H, which is generally considered Heartland Village, but New York City does not classify it as such. It is a condo that was built in 1988 and only has seven hundred square feet of living space.

Below is a rundown of recent home sales in the New Springville community of Staten Island.
