The nearest public schools are P.S. 194, at 3117 Avenue W; P.S. 277, at 2529 Gerritsen Avenue; Junior High School 14, at 2424 Batchelder Street; Junior High School 278, at 1925 Stuart Street; Sheepshead Bay High School, at 3000 Avenue X; and James Madison High School, at 2787 Bedford Avenue.  The closest Catholic schools to the home are the Good Shepherd School, at 1943 Brown Street, and the St. Edmund Preparatory High School, at 2474 Ocean
