When you buy a house, you have to make additions to the home to make it more inviting for yourself and your guests, right? Well, what if you could purchase a house that is warm, inviting, and beautiful in and of itself? Our latest listing, the spacious High-Ranch at 56 Bache Street, is just that.
See the Complete listing for 56 Bache St.
When you arrive at Bache Street, you will find it to be quiet and private. The home sits toward the end of the dead-end street, with trees across from the main façade of the house. Your parking options include the built-in garage, the driveway, and on the street, right beside your very own mailbox. As you walk along the path to the front door, you will notice a lovely balcony just above with enough room for seating.
Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in a large hallway, with a closet to your side. Beside the closet, you will see a staircase leading down. Just ahead, you will find another staircase, which leads upward. If you continue walking through the hallway, you will find a laundry area and two steps which lead to the family room and the back of the house. In the family room, you will find a set of French doors leading to the exterior of the house. Outside, you will find yourself standing on a deck in a large backyard, with an above-ground pool.
Once you have ascended the stairs to the second floor, you will find an eat-in kitchen with oak cabinets, ceramic tiles, and an island with a granite countertop for entertainment. Just off the kitchen is the large living room with an equally-large dining beside it In the dining room, you will see sliders to the balcony, we saw earlier. Continuing on, you will find the main bathroom, which has a Jacuzzi, a separate shower stall, a large vanity, and a linen closet. Further along, you will find two average-sized bedrooms and the master bedroom, which all have closets, windows, and bamboo flooring. Furthermore, on this floor, you have access to the attic, which can be used for storage.
Back on the first floor, you may now descend the staircase into the basement. Here, you will find a fully-tiled area with a separate entrance from the exterior of the house. You have a new kitchen, a new full bathroom, plenty of closets for storage, and an additional room for storage or another bedroom.
Once again, on the first floor, you will notice something you may have missed earlier—a three-room apartment. In here, you have a full bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, all lined with hardwood flooring.
I know what you’re thinking—you didn’t think this house could have all of this and be so affordable. Well just wait—it gets better. Surrounding the house are the main thoroughfares of Forest Avenue and Jewett Ave., where you will find plenty of places and shops and a number of bus stops. On Forest Avenue, you can take the local s48 bus to the St. George Ferry Terminal and Mariners Harbor, or the x14 and x30 express buses into Manhattan. There are also a few more buses on neighboring streets, such as the s57 on Decker Avenue, the s66 on Jewett Avenue, and the s44 on Post Avenue. Aside from these, there are also a number of great schools in the area, such as P.S. 19, I.S. 51, and Port Richmond High School; the Catholic Blessed Sacrament School and Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Benedicta School, and the private El Bethel Christian Academy. As a point of note the schools mentioned here should only be used as a point of reference and may not necessarily be those this particular address is zoned for, check your local school board or school administration for attendance eligibility.
